This Connection is Not Trusted. ( What To Do ) Firefox

Today i was trying to set up internet on a windows PC and i encountered a problem that i have not encountered before. Any time  i put in a web address, for facebook or google, i get an error message as shown in picture in image. There are a lot of reasons for this but we will discuss the most common and obvious in the course of this post.

Incorrect Date And Time

Incorrect date and time on your pc can result in error messages when trying to access secure web pages on the internet especially when doing so over a proxy connection. As it happened in my case i was using the MTN simple server browsing cheat on my PC . To correct this anomaly, i had to correct the date and time on my PC and the error messages stopped showing.

I was trying to update the device software on my blackberry curve 8520 today when i noticed that for some reason i could not update it using the blackberry desktop software so i had to install my update manually  and it was successful, even faster than updating with the blackberry desktop software.
So, i am going to share with you how to update your blackberry device software in the next few steps.

How To Manually Update Your Blackberry Device Software.

  1. Go to the blackberry Support Page 
  2. Choose your carrier ( sim network you are using on the phone ). If you are in Nigeria and you cant find your service provider on the list,  just choose MTN Nigeria and click next
  3. Select the product you wish to update and click next
  4. Fill out the online form and click next.
  5. Download the update software
  6. Double click to install when software is done downloading.
  7. After Installation, Go to My Computer > Open this Path C:> Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/AppLoader and Locate & delete the File Vendor.xml.
  8. In the same folder locate and run  the loader application which will then load your new OS onto your blackberry device.
You might need to uninstall blackberry desktop software from your PC for smooth updating

I needed to access the itunes store of recent to download some stuff for my phone, and the file was large !.5 GB to be precise. The problem was not the data. How To Run an ISO file without Burning it to Disc with Windows Virtual cd Control Tool

 
When Office products are downloaded from the Volume License Service Center, they come down as .ISO files. .ISO is not a file format that Windows can open natively.  An ISO file is an image of a CD/DVD. Typically you would be able to use a burning program like Nero, Daemon tools, Windows disc image burner or a host of other programs  to burn that ISO file directly to a disk.

How To Share Internet Connection From Your Laptop Without Connectify
This post will show you how to create a wireless network connection on your laptop so that you can share your internet with other computers, ipads, phones and other devices. Connectify hotspot is actually the most popular way of sharing hotspot from a pc but connectify hotspot is not free, so today i will be showing you how to share an internet connection from your laptop to other devices without connectify hotspot.

To share your internet connection. I recommend virtual router manager. It is easy to use and it is free.
Virtual Router is a free, open source software based router for PCs running Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Using Virtual Router, users can wirelessly share any internet connection (Wifi, LAN, Cable Modem, Dial-up, Cellular, etc.) with any Wifi device (Laptop, Smart Phone, iPod Touch, iPhone, Android Phone, Zune, Netbook, wireless printer, etc.) These devices connect to Virtual Router just like any other access point, and the connection is completely secured using WPA2 (the most secure wireless encryption.)
Virtual router manager can be used any where you are without any advertising to annoy you. To create your wireless connection
  • Download virtual router manager from here 
  • Install virtual router manager on your windows computer
  • Open the Virtual Router Manager and type in a Network Name (SSID) , also type in a password, (note it must be up to 8 characters),  select the internet connection you want to share
  • Now click start Virtual Router Manger
  • Now you can turn-on wireless on your devices and you will see the network name, connect to it with the password you have created and you will have internet access from the computer.
If when you clicked start Virtual Router Manager you get a message that says “group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation” then all you have to do is on your start menu search CMD and right-click on it and run as administrator when a DOS environment comes up just type in this “netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow” without the quote and hit enter, now it should work fine.
